six stacks of ashes, eight piles of dust marks the first collective exhibition of a long-term research project undertaken by endrosia collective. the project space adopts the properties of its former function as a storage unit and receives new material content: the active ingredients for carving out new spatial encounters.
this initial attempt to establish a biography of Trikoupi 68 is informed by reflections on the multiplicity of social realities, as well as spatially-coded manifestations of control that coalesce within the streetscape. counter-narratives and experiments in commemoration reckon with collective memory, habit and the cultural principle of the archive to form a body of work that reevaluates the symbols, materials, forms and conceptual schemes that shape a street and its wider locality
